Hi, everyone. I had booked from the 15th. Mai, and still have. I have to say, visitors are confused, how to react, even I write on Extranet, some arrive with the mask, and very know how to do in the new situations.
Big extra work to disinfect the room and even the whole house where visitors can go. (We say: It's not a hotel, it's your home so long you visit us) and I want to keep it this way, but lots of work, and not the same kind of contact with people ass before.
New guidelines in Kitchen, serve dinner, -not possible to keep the distance when to serve, -
and a little fighting if we get a problem...
I do charge 4€ extra PR. night for extra cleaning.
Before I wash bedding, and Tawel on 40 degrees, now it needs a minimum 70 degree, and longer time before ready.
I really don't know if I enjoy this ass before the virus problem. But the visitors are all local, no booking from other countries yet.
Can anybody explain how you are doing, do you still enjoy??

15. May.... Nervous.
Good luck

I do understand the Booking Policy.
In these situations, I just need a guideline, fair and safe for the guest, and for me. It's a Bed and Breakfast, It's my home, and a place where we need to know, our guest is not arriving with COVIC-19.
If people arrive with COVIC-19 symptoms, I do not want, but will send them to a test on our Hospital.
Will we be paid?
I need an guidelines to the policy..Do I make then, or do Booking.com make then?
Hi from Lucy
For the protection of other customers, and my family, I acquired a contact loose thermometer so I can test incoming customers:
Should a customer arrive with a fever, should they be rejected?
If a traveller arrives on a plane with a fever, they will be rejected and their ticket will not be refunded but can be used for a later departure.
I asked Booking: com yesterday, whether we will be paid for our booking if customers arrive with a fever and I reject them.
the answer is here:
Dear partner,
Thank you for contacting Booking.com about getting paid for the rejected reservation. Unfortunately, if you will reject to accommodate a guest when he arrives, we should relocate guest under our contract which you signed. As part of the guest’s relocation, we would ask you to provide private transport to the new accommodation. Any other reasonable costs should also be reimbursed, for example, cost difference between your property and the alternative accommodation, transport, phone costs to the guest, etc.
Confused.....Lucy
Dear Adamopoulou, Thanks. I have visitors next week, booking from 2019, I'm finished the guest room, next week I just need to make Croissant and bread for breakfast.
But, you are right, the worst can happen if people bring a virus?
Maybe we just lost 2020, But I still have many bookings, even many cancels.
There will be some bookings, to no show-up, forgot cancel, but how to do? If no show, I get paid 100%.
I'm nervous, but I feel ready, and good support from hubby.
I will let you know
Hi from Lucy
Hi Marita.
You can use a different system, I use Izettle, www.izettle.com
You need a Ca, and tablet (I have a Samsung) but you can use an iPad, but not a very old one.
Its easy, card reader is contactless.
I pay a 1.5% commission, Booking.com charge 3%. You can use your bank, my bank use a Wifi system, its expensive, but the commission is only 1.1%.
Another system is SumuP its good, but expensive.
I'm happy with Izettle, make a Deal with them, and you are your own boss.
Just ask
