Guys,
There is no payment processing in Cuba, because you are under embargo for banking processes. That's why you cannot even charge real guest credit cards.
My services are on the table and available for everyone in Cuba. Everyone working with me has been pleased by the flexibility that I offer them.
The Hotel Nacional listing is in EUR because the website can show any currency for the guests, it converts it automatically, however, sending prices to BDC can be only in USD. I'm also fighting the same endless battle with them over our national currency vs EUR.
That will not change, they ignore our requests.
Just move on from these roadblocks, add the extra price to accommodate the costs for dealing with BDC and enjoy receiving the guests.

Didn't they remove account manager contacts? Cause that's what they did in my country. My account manager just disappeared into the thin air.

Also, make sure that after BDC marks this as a refunded booking, that it doesn't appear on your commission invoice statement.

You do that via a Channel Manager which can connect to your payment gateway.
Ask the gateway about who they're working with.

Unsure anymore, because all properties which enter into our franchise get the full payment benefits, however I think that you can opt in for getting paid by BDC for reservations where the guests pay online.
You might want to call your local support office and ask.

Well, generally you can ask the guest to pay, but if the guest already left, you kind of gave them a free stay.
Nothing BDC can do about this as it's your responsibility.

Just to be sure:
- you have 2 room types in the extranet?
- are you sure that you have availability and pricing set up for both?
- did you check the close-outs?
