I have 2 Self Contained Studio type rooms so they eat in their rooms and prepare their own breakfast at their leisure or a time which suits their travels/trips for the day. ( these 2 rooms have the same foods put in their fridges as the other rooms). The other rooms eat a Self Serve Breakfast on the Balcony at a time which suits them. I lay the Cereals out on the table, make a fruit salad and place it at the top of the fridge with the yoghurts, bread etc and the jams, eggs and milk are in the door. I leave hot soapy water in the sink to rinse their dishes and put in the dishwasher or I do it if I am still at home when they finish eating. Some people take their time and eat everything in site and you wonder where the hell they put it all but then others eat and run.
If a guest wants to pay Cash. Do I have to declare it to the Tax return?
I have only ever printed the BDC invoice for the guest and they have been satisfied with that.I used to go into Payment Status click on Paid in Full and it would show on the invoice as PAID but it no longer does that for some reason.
Coffee (along with Black tea, Green tea, White tea and a couple of herbal teas) is offered in the Free Breakfast in my home and the guests can help themselves at any time . With the coffee I offer plunger coffee and instant coffee. The instant coffee has 2 different strengths and is as popular as the fresh coffee.
Maybe you didn't save it when you closed the room. Call the first guest for the booking for confirmation. If they confirm then call Booking and they will help to find a new place for the over booked second guest. Maybe call the second guest yourself and explain the situation and get them to cancel.
Go to Property then Room Amenities. Room size will be there and you can change it easily.
I'm not sure about that. Maybe you need to make a call to Booking for the answer.
