Boost occupancy with the Off-Peak Deal

Once the buzz of peak-season has settled, attentions turn to increasing occupancy during quieter months. Time to explore the Off-Peak Deal

While peak-season remains as popular as ever, there is now growing demand during less busy periods as travellers seek out peaceful experiences away from the masses.

Over 60% of people agree that being in places with large crowds is a negative aspect of travel, and according to a recent Booking.com survey more than two thirds of travellers (68%)* say they are willing to travel to a destination outside of peak season to help offset seasonal overcrowding in 2019.

So, in what can traditionally be a quieter time for accommodation providers, how can you capitalise on this interest and attract guests in the off-peak?

The Off-Peak deal will open to Booking.com customers on the 23 July and run until 31 October, offering a minimum 20% discount (25% in Cyprus and Asia) on stay-dates between 1 September and 31 October 2019.

During this time, partners who opt in to the deal will benefit from additional marketing including visibility on a special landing page, on-site advertising, tagging and emails.

To take advantage of the deal partners should head to the Promotions Centre on the Extranet to activate the Off-Peak Deal and be sure to update your availability on the applicable dates to ensure your property is visible to potential guests.
