Am I going to have penalties for reservation cancellations?

I am a retired Key Worker who has been called back to my old job on a minimum 4 month contract. I have had to relocate away from my rental so will be unable to manage it until September if the restrictions are lifted. Will I be penalised by Bookings.Com for cancelling my remaining bookings for June, July, August up until that date? Has anyone a similar experience?


I don't think there is any charge for this.  Hopefully everyone will be sympathetic given that you are doing such a good thing and it is a unique time in the world.  The main problem is that normally you cannot cancel the booking yourself.  The guest has to do it.  If I need a guest to cancel I try and look at alternatives for them so that when you tell them they need to cancel you can show you have tried to be helpful.  Stay safe.
