how I can Change my star rating on booking.com?
Hi! Torki-Alahmadi and welcome to the forum. Zsolt has excellent explained the star rating in another thread few months ago so I copy paste for your knowledge.“The procedure should work like this:
1. Hotel gets rating from government when they open for business.
2. Government should check after a few years if the hotel still meets requirements (doesn't really happen)
3. BDC registers hotel rating from government certificate
4. If the hotel is sold, the owner should get a new certificate (doesn't really happen as the certificate is registered to the company, not the person owning it)
5.BDC should then update the new certificate (will not happen if the 4th point doesn't happen.”
Hope this helps...
