Restrict last minute bookings

Please can someone explain how to restrict last minute bookings? I am happy to except bookings up to the day before but cannot see how to implement this on the site.

Hi! -Paula444murray and welcome to the forum.

You can edit in your Calendar minimum advance reservation.

In your calendar switch to list view and under the rate edit minimum advance reservation.

Thank you but I only have 3 options - edit basic price - edit occupancy pricing - edit minimum length of stay?

When you click on standard rate you should have options to Edit basic price, edit occupancy rate, edit min length of stay, edit min advance of reservation. If you don’t have that option maybe you should call your local BDC office and ask them to add it for you.

Hi! I have the same issue,  it is horrible to have guests appearing out of the blue during the night in 2, 3 hours and the property unprepared. It is a difficult job and a lot of work to get rid of last minute booking, you have to click on each day of your calendar in the restrictions page on extranet and if you want to get read of this for one year it means 360 clicks on each day setting 1 Day notice.

Hi! We are ok with last minute bookings but not in the middle of the night! The only option is to set minimum advanced bookings to one day, but for us its ok until 10 pm the same day. We guess a lot of small hotels have the same issue...
