‘Last Minute’ Promotion
Could somebody please help clarify the details of a ‘Last Minute’ Promotion?
When adding this promotion one option is, “When can guests book this promotion?” followed by two choices.
“Guests can book this promotion XX days before check-in day” and ”Guests can book this promotion XX hours before check-in day”
Does this mean that the guest can only book the room exactly XX days before check-in day and that either side of xx days the promotion will not be visible?
In the ‘Early Booker’ Promotion it is a lot clearer; “How far in advance do guests need to book this promotion? Guests need to book this promotion XX days or more before the check-in date.”
On the "last minute" promotion my understanding is that the the guest can only take advantage of the discount if they book with a same day or next day arrival whilst on "early booker" it is xx days in advance of arrival.

Not quite correct.
You may indeed set these boxes to either up to a maximum of 23:59 hours.
Up to a maximum of 6 days in advance.
Thanks @ fluff
So if we set “Guests can book this promotion 6 days before check-in day” the guest can only book the promotion on the sixth day before check-in? Not on the 5th, 4th etc but only on the 6th?
Think of the settings as 'maximums" on the Last Minute promo.
If you set it to 6 days that means anything up to 6 days in advance.
Thanks @fluff and @hector - I've been trying to work this out too!
It seemed logical that with last minute being max 6 days out (of check-in), a person booking closer (day 5, 4 etc) would also be able to access the last minute rate, but sometimes when I check - my last minute rate isn't showing up.
As someone who only has 2 apartments, last minute to me - is 14 days out.
It would be great if booking.com extended this to allow 10 - 14 days out for last minute.
Anyway, thanks again!
Cheers Pip (Cairns)
Is there a step by step on how to do this promotion? I am confused.
