move from instant booking to guest must first confirm

i need to move from instant book to reviewing guests ages and gender -- we have had major Airbnb problems with several young males arriving and disrespecting property

is this possible on booking as it is on vrbo, airbnb. gites etc ??

THats not how it works nor how you do it.


You set the policies, guest books, calendar has available dates and reservation confirmed.


But now you can in advance of them arriving and after placing reservation in the reservation template, add a section'


"Government Issues Photo ID required In advance of stay. within 24 hours of placing booking. Failure to do so , breach of the policies etc will result in voiding the reservation"


Then you can click request Cancel, and click option 1 to mark it for cancellation; then follow up to partner support to confirm when it will be finialised as cancelled.

Simply report to BdC Partner Support , see below 3 methods. They will never see any post on the Partner Hub.


Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport 


  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
