reservation issue urgent

Godd afternoon !! Our hotel has a reservation no *** check in date 1/7/2020 .It is impossible for our hotel to open on that date due to low demand and other serious  matters . I communicated the client through booking yesterday and asked her to cancel the reservation .The client as you can see has a virtual card which would be activated on 2th of July. We have told the client that we did not get any money and how could we of course and and kindly ask to cancel the reservation. Could you please advice what else can i do ? You have posted this on the partner forum so we are not able to look at the booking or help with this matter.  Message the booking.com help team using Inbox icon on Extranet.

If you are closed you need to make sure that you update booking.com to show this, so you get no bookings.
