What to do during a quiet week
Very quiet week even a cancellation for which we have a polite template! Thinking of changing policy from 24hrs to 4 days, still a busy week next week, enjoying the ''rest" gardening cleaning painting and sorting a mystery plumbing problem!
Hey Rhjbyron !
Funny that I'm only seeing this post now.
Hope your mystery plumbing went okay.
What all is in your Polite cancellation template if I may ask? I've had to set up one recently.
(I'm having a Lull November, bookings are quiet and yet I'm busy all day, every day. How does one explain that...)
Leandri I have closed my Studio for the winter and I am so busy time seems not be enough. Being creative keeps the mind and hands moving around and around. Have a nice day.
Hi yes Leandri, anyway our template looks like this but I have a couple but I use this one mainly, we rarely hear back tbh Hello
Sorry to see you that you have cancelled close to your booking time, I hope we can accommodate you at some other stage, or if there is a problem please feel free to let us know, we may be able to resolve it? All the best Richard and Eileen
See, 6 days just blew past and I didn't get time to come and respond.
Rhjbyron , Thanks for the reply. Interesting that you don't provide your contact details on your cancellation template? Do you think Booking.com will have a problem that I've added my contact details on our cancellaiton policy. In my template I advise the guest that if they contact me I will assist them, and sometimes they contact me before going to book again.
M Adamopoulou , which I had some time to get rid of some of my creativity!
Nice to have you back Leandri. This forum seems empty without you. It’s great that you had a nice time away from us.
Don’t forget to upload your photo.
Hey M Adamopoulou ,
Haha thanks, I'm just not getting time for everything. For such a Quiet time of the year, we sure are running around.
I keep on forgetting to put it on the USB stick to bring along and upload :-| *Sets reminder on cellphone*
Have a stunning week
Quite time of the year or not Leandri is always busy.
Thinking, writing, informing, suggesting, admiring, helping, requesting, encouraging, relaxing and much more synthesize a quiet week for Leandri!!!!!
Hahahhaa Ain't that the truth M Adamopoulou .
Hi yes there is no reason to not include a phone number I do within my directions template
This week is totally dead, Ireland has sunk under the rain, still I’m not doing silly loss leading promos
What do you know booking for 1 night tomorrow, better tidy up ?!
Dead is the whole month.... I dont really mind since I have closed my Studio and enjoy it myself for the wintertime. Hopefully my guests will awaken before Springtime comes....
Good for you M ‘‘tis very sparse next booking is in another week or so, isn’t it annoying when you forget one item on the breakfast menu? Our rural local means a 40k round trip
Funny, it feels like Yesterday was 1 Dec but behold... it's 12/12 today! The days are blurring together at this point.
Glad you got a booking Rhjbyron . We are so fully booked that I feel like going to our properties and building more chalets with my own two hands, because that's the feeling I'm getting from people requesting accommodation. I tell them we have no more space, they get massively upset.
.. Where's my cement mixer, I know I had one here somewhere...
Anyway, enjoy the calm before the storm!
Leandri keep well. Be careful with the storm.
During quiet day, normally we will try to use that opportunity to refresh our property and make sure everything will be 100% ready.
Same everyone……………..It is a busy time for us BUT I really do not know where 2018 went !!!! My father blames Donald Trump But I don't think so (haha)…..The time is just running running.
Time is running so fast the last few years. When we were small it was going really slow nowadays we can’t catch it. So off we go.
Same here guys . I am trying to re decorate and find some bargains for coming year. Of course will enjoy time off and re charge my human battery.
All the best for coming year .
As we are in a historic property there is always something to do. Whether it's the gardening in the five acres of house garden or maintenance on the house, we're always busy.
