More assistance needed

How do I get Booking.com to act faster/sooner on my requests to cancel reservations after I have repeatedly tried to contact guests to verify their booking? Most of these "dead" booking remain on the portal, blocks other potential guests and eventually become "No Shows". This is extremely annoying!

Booking.com policy is that they offer Guranteed bookings to the guest when they make a booking. You can not cancel a booking. Only guest can. Or you can report an invalid credit card and if in 24hours the guest doesn't update the card information you can cancel. If you got overbooked.. well.. Booking.com will find another accommodation for the guest and you will pay the commission for this booking (at least). How are you verifying their bookings?
