Have you noticed that adding specific amenities have increased your bookings?
First year I did not include parking in my facilities because it is shared between building owners and it was not free. This year I added it and there are more reservations even though we charge it additionally. I am thinking next year to arrange breakfast in a restaurant nearby and of course we will charge it - also to see if it will grow bookings
I did not originally mention parking, as I could not guarantee that it would always be free. However, the demand for parking was still there. Even if it was not offered, a number of guests requested it anyway.
I simply keep track of the various options for parking. They have different prices and different levels of complexity. I prefer to allow the guest to use what option makes the most sense for them. In the worst case, that's a parking garage a few blocks down the street.
Free wi-fi without a doubt
Free WiFi and free parking - we offer both and it seems that this is what guests request when making a booking
free WIFI. hands down.
Free WIFI, parking, Continental breakfast. TV
Hello everybody!!! Yes WiFi is absolutely a must. Every guest asks for it although many of them have their own mobile data. Breakfast is also something guests like. I dont serve breakfast but I have always in the fridge milk, butter, yogurt, fresh eggs, juice, fruits etc for my guest to prepare their breakfast.. A coffee machine coffee, sugar are also provided.
Free wifi and free guaranteed car parking - the latter being rare where we are and hence in high demand.
free wifi.. and in my country Malaysia, aircond also is a must..
I have noticed no one ever watches tv so I removed that and also bought a smaller desk to give guests more actual space.wifi is essential especially here in London they ask for the code before they remove their coat!!!!!! As most guests are on business,or need to phone home.
Interesting Sara, most of my guests put their TV on to watch early morning news, I would have trouble if they were not in each room...
Graham they watch the news or stream tv on their different devices but never ever on tv!!!!!!It was just collecting dust.
Oh they use their pads etc, but the TV's are used regularly here. Odd.
Free Wi-fi, books and kids toys and books , i got family bookings which is much better than individuals.
My nice comfortable beach chairs and loungers where my guests can relax drinking their coffee or cocktail admiring the beautiful scenery of sea and mountains .
It does help a lot. Especially for Wi-FI, car park, breakfast
At our B&B the top 3 are free Wi-Fi, free "hot" breakfast, free parking.
We upgraded every Games room on each property, this really drew in more Family bookings as mommy and daddy felt comfortable leaving their children in the games room.
Free wifi is not an option for us, but we do have wifi vouchers that our guests can buy. It's very interested that all the other comments on here is very Pro free wifi. Mostly B&B's and guest houses?
I 100% agree with free parking, I myself wouldn't want to stay somewhere if I had to pay parking (like one does at a mall). And it should be secure parking too!
Great ideas all!
