About payment for staying in the Apartment.

Dear sirs, please advise.

Our guest requested to pay in cash upon arrival.

We have never done it befor and I don quite understand the procedure, how will they book without a credit car in this case and if they pay in cash in what way will I pay commission to booking.com?

Hi Anna,

 

Be default when you become a partner , that is exactly what typically happens , they pay you directly, so its up to you to define the payment methods in your New Reservation template, so the Guest is notified HowTo.

 

Yes for every reservation while paid directly, you use the 1 of 2 methods displayed in Finance Overview page.

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

Hi , I too had one surprise guest booked at midnight , inspite of corono2 and  I was not accepting any guests due to local regulations,  But the guest could not ge contacted and not in Pulse too , He booked through affiliate and landed even before check in time,  I explained and asked him to decide to stay with me at his risk and pay cah , The couple stayed , cooked meals with me and happily checked out and I paid the commision after receiving the invoice uploaded  through online, 

And waiting for corono2 peak to recede!!! I have his written review too recorded in my  guest book

Thank you for you reply! I did not deal with this kind of payment before so I have some questions. If they pay me in cash , so they do not make the reservation on booking.com site? and I have to block these dates by myself? And how did you pay money to booking.com? Did you transfer money to them or they just withdraw the comission  form the next reservation?

1 The system automatically booKng confirmation and booking com do not have to take money from Guest  2 If the guest arrive you have two options to the best if my kniwoegde 

You may get acceptance of caution deposit , returnable and payment by cash whike checking in or a bit hour later after they are happy to stay,  

After they check out ensure system update or check the Syatem and update payment details confirmation 

System automatically send you invoice  fir commisiand also follow local regulations by first week or so , Pament options also you recive in mail . Just add beneficiary booking,com and process with accomedetion number and invoice number . And iniate transfer,  you will see the status of invoice as Paid in a few days  for  Booking com commission 

That ends the matter,  

If the guest do not arrive , within 48 hrs window record no show, then no invoice for commision will be raised
