accessing credit card details from guests

hello everyone,

I have a lot of pain accessing the credit card details of the guests. The support just told me that now those details were only available 10 days after the booking. Were you aware of those changes in the rules?




Hi James. It has been this way for ages but I cannot remember how far back. It is very important to take down the credit card no. on the day of booking. It appears again around 24 hours before they arrive ....or perhaps even before. You could always contact the guest and ask them for the credit card no. again. This is a problem perhaps if they are not in your country or do not speak your language. I have done this on a couple of occasions when I have been on holiday and could not be bothered to take down the details. Anne.
