Agoda via BDC payment problem

Here's a strange problem I have encountered.

A res. made with Agoda but taken from BDC allotment via their "twins" style affiliation.  The guest has a valid credit card with Agoda but has admitted to having a duff one registered at BDC. As far as they are concerned their booking is with Agoda.

We then report their card as invalid but the Agoda guest does not receive this notification or any kind of comms asking to enter new card details.

The only comms available are messages via BDCs standard internal system or Agoda-email.


How does the guest present revised card details that BDC will see AND advise us of for this reservation?

To answer my own question, we managed it in the end but it was a lot of hassle!
