Automatic payments/automatic payments

We have various properties listed and have been told that the automatic online payment is only activated for NEW establishments. Why is this ? Surely those of us who have been listed with Booking.com should have had first option on this ? They are always vague in answering us.

Message the finance department via extranet to explain and request it be activate or you will go elsewhere.
