Booking.com should keep its promises

If booking.com states that payouts are done within 10 days, they should stick to this policy or change it. Like many other people here, i need to pay my bills and patience is no option. I am very surprised about all this as i thought booking.com is serious. In the meantime, i wait now 20 days on my payment and no clue what to do ....

Hi Phil

You could contact the finance team, to see what is wrong. 

Second, you can set up your payment system in a way that people or pay as they book, or pay at your unit. (you need to buy a device that accepts credit cards)

Different methods are explained in the extranet.

Hi

 

For payments via VCC, requires a virtual terminal such as payrexx.com

 

I also use the same payout option as you.

 

What you fail to understand is , it is based on:

 

Every 8 days , where a checkout has occurred only.

 

SEPA IBAN Transfer then can take up to several days depending on where your bank is versus BdC bank.

 

On average for me the sepa transfer is max 48 hours.

 

So yes when they say 10 days that is 100% true,

 

but where you misunderstood is that only means when the transfer starts,

 

not when it ends up in your account.

 

Once the money transfer starts, there are many variables as to why it takes so long .

 

I hope that demystifies the misconceptions and misinformation.

As Aaltje commented it is better if you contact directly BDC and ask them to support you.

Hi all,

thanks for your comments, really appreciate! As Aaltje suggested, i contacted finance dpt but only got message that all corrections will be done with last payout of january. No explanations why i takes so long. Customer service of booking.com is really great but they dont have any power on finance dpt which seems to be in Asia. 23 days overdue now ...

truly very strange phenomenon, hopefully its just some weird monthly NET 30 days standard that only applies to that country.

Why do you not process your own payments and get paid instantly, like me? Why give control of your money over to a corporation?  Get your own processer like stripe, or a bank, or square.

Yeah, Phil, just double check if it is possible in your country before you pull the plug on your original system... 

It seems that it is not a worldwide accepted method.

Some Properties like me cannot process own payments so payments by booking.com is an excellen solution.
