Booking.com take commission off your payment & then dip into your bank account & take it again

Has anyone else had this issue, after the guests leave booking.com pay out less their commission, then dip in your bank account and take it again. several phone calls later to admittedly sympathetic admin at booking.com One sighs 'yes the finance department, won't take our calls or your calls, it's not good'  During a bloody pandemic as well.

Hi Casa,

No never happened, are you absolutely sure you dont have the wrong end of the stick on this? As since Q2 2020 they have not been deducting anything and just send the full amount..

No it happened 100% took around two months to be refunded, yes I phoned them via contact button & the operatives were sympathetic, as I said, one said I can see you are correct you have been charged commission twice & finance should correct it eventually, 'sigh' they don't pick up any of our phone calls. Booking.com review system is also totally flawed, asking a guest what they didn't like about their stay pffffffft. even if it was perfect they are nudged to critisize.    We were flooded in 2019 and had to close for a few months whilst everything was re plastered, new kitchen, pool, bathroom etc. Had to cancel 6 bookings, every other rental website were sympathetic, Booking.com? (we may have to charge you for providing alternative accommodation)
