My room is over booked but a client insists to check in because he has already paid online

I’ve made a rookie mistake. I went live 3 days ago, thought I’d sorted my calendar but hadn’t realised that it continued for over a year. Someone has booked, no notification received as yet, but I’m not open on these dates in 2020.

ive sent them a message but I’m not sure if I’ve done the right thing.

advice/help please
