Does anyone understand how the new policy impacts on self-catering? I may have misunderstood the policy (and I am waiting for my account manager to speak with me) but it appears that the new policy that is heralded as helping my business means that I am only able to take the full amount at booking stage or 50% and then 50% on arrival. Is this correct?
If so, has Booking.com failed to understand self-catering once again? We are totally different to hotels and the market will not support this policy. It looks like I will have to remove 70+ properties from Booking.com or ask for full payment on booking (effectively making it impossible to use this platform).
I am hoping that I have misunderstood this completely because it cannot be as foolish as it looks.
I would welcome views/corrections
