Cancelled Reservation or No Show


I have had a no show and two other reservations that were cancelled few hours to arrival. I have a policy that reads 'guests will be charged full price of reservation if they cancel within 24hours before reservation'.

I do receive the cancellation email alright but no email from booking.com with respect to the guest charged for cancellation.

Please help me understand if am not getting the meaning.

If you activated feature "Payments by Booking.com" you will get paid.


If you activated feature "Online Payments by Booking.com" you need to charge Booking's Virtual card (you must have a POS machine).


If noone of the above it's your responsabilty how to collect payments directly from the guest. 


In extranet under policies you can see which payment method you selected for your property.
