Client wants to cancel

We have has a client contact us to say they can't pay for the room on the requested dates and we would like to open the bookings up

We have requested cancellation twice now but you don't seem to want to do it. 




So there is a perfect solution , when its the Guest asking to cancel you direct them back t o their account on booking dot com:

  1.  and tell them to cancel it on their account directly.
  2. or use the (?) customer Service help for assistance.


This is the ideal methods


option 3. is open their reservation detail and on right , select request cancelation, choose option 2 of 2 , and submit.

Guest will get a email notification from BdC system to cancel and they MUST click accept/confirm.


System will then mark is canceled and notify you


exactly how did you previously attempt to request cancelation if it was not one of the three  listed?

Follow procedure and either : 

1. [primary method] Tell them to contact booking CS to cancel or they use their online account.


2. If they are lazy and wont, you can either do it yourself to initiate it, or phone BdC Partner Support to do it.

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
