Csncellation policy

Sb booked and kept my calendar blocker for whole 15 days and never showed up, how booking handle this? My cancellation policy is strick but I was able to see that guest never added a payment method so how booking works with bookings like this? I lost potencial guest for this reservation and have waiting to get contacted but nothing happens... We have to go to social media and make complaints for potencial hosts???

Thats is not how it works at all.

Its entirely your own responsibility to config Extranet for your property type etc, and setup how payment should work from the 3 general methods.

 

BdC will not be responsible for this. They can only advise on the various scenarios.

 


 

As you have not shared enough info and have no listing link in your partner profile, we are limited to what we can see and advise.

 

So next action is to understand where you have gone wrong and then contact Partner Support to refiew your setup.

 

  • Are you only using the default payment setup?  i.e. you have not applied for BdC Online Payments nor Payments by Booking   
  • Is the rate type Non refundable? Even if NR type, if you are only on default payment of cash on arrival, then a No Show means you will never get paid.

 


You said "waiting to get contacted but nothing happens." please elaborate what you meant by this ?

 

If you meant you posted on here and expect BdC Partner Support to message or call you , that will never happen. 

 


You next action should be to do some homework on what payment gateway providers are availabile in your country/region such as sumup.com, etc Then do same for BdC Online Payments, Payments by Booking, and compare all 3 as to which is best for you.

 Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport 

 

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
