Customer paid booking.com, when do they pay us

International cutomer paid booking.com the expense of their stay. Its been almost 1 week. When will they pay us. As m getting personal bookings for the same dates. I always decide on who pays the advance first is reliable for the stay. Y do they take so much time to pay us. I think there should be a policy for payment from their side.

Hi Aamir.  You might find this helpful: https://partner.booking.com/en-gb/help/policies-payments/payment-produc…

A lot of people seem to have problems with booking.com not paying, but I have to say that I am not one of them.  My payments have been sent as per the above.  However, my only complaint is that they actually wait until after a client has ledt before they pay and it can take anything like two weeks for the money tgo get to my bank.  They should have a system like AirBnB, who pay on the day after a client has arrived, however long they are staying. booking.com is getting fat on the interest on money which is rightfully ours as soon as the client checks in,

The main thing is i take 50% advance for the booking. If they pay so late how are we going to confirm that booking. What matters to me is that First one to pay is my priority. And if we dnt take the booking for the dates confirm by booking.com and if the customer cancels. We get nothing thats our loss... So we can say booking.com is totaly self oriented. Dnt care about us and also the customer

Hi Aamir

So what I suspect is really happening , based on both what you said and what you have NOT said is....

You have not signed up to any prepay service at all.

i.e. Payments By Booking  nor BdC Online Payments (VCC/CCC)

NOTE: if you are only using default setup and have done zero actions to setup payment method, then it all defaults to pay on arrival , pay cash.

for BdC's Online Payments you must have a 3rd party payment service setup in order to charge VCC & CC.

Note: you can only see the details and charge the virtual card on day 2 of their stay around 12 noon.

e.g. iZettle'; square; sumup, and have what is called a Virtual Terminal requested from them aka ePOS

For Payments By Booking, you have to qualify, and also sign up for it.

This one is based on you choosing weekly versus monthly payout, but only pays out all bookings that have checked out by the payout date for that period.

this one is what I call the zero admin method, as it greatly reduces admin tasks for you.

option 3  : direct pay / prepay

once guest books the auto message template for new reservations is sent to guest.

You must includes all the payment methods you support for them to prepay (partial, full, and/or deposit)

This is kinda similar to bdC Online Payments but its all directly with you and or a 3rd party payment service you are using.

  1. SEPA bank transfer
  2. BANK Swift transfer
  3. money transfer service
  4. payment links - paypal or other
  5. cash on arrival
  6. etc..

If needed, Simply report to BdC Partner Support , see below 3 methods.

Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport ***

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
  8.

*** public main lines via Where you can reach us

how to contact partner support via private assigned number in inbox

I have added bank details and everything that u require to transfer the sum... And dya 2 after 12 noon we can charge, what do you mean by this. I take 50% advance and then confirm the booking. Its very irregular type of system i think so..... When all the details are given u r showing so many steps that i have not got time to read it at all....

Payments By Booking is by far the simplest option. Yes they do hold the money until the end of the month + 14 days - though they generally pay earlier. Yes AirBnB pays the day after check-in but they're different companies. My only issue with Payments By Booking is the Damage Deposit is not handled through their system.
