Dishonest property owners but still operating on booking.com
I am a property owner who has worked with booking.com for many years and as many of you probably also do use booking.com, quite frequently for personal trips.
I booked an apartment for a 2 night stay in Leeds early November 2018 for myself and was conned by the owner out of £98. I called booking.com straight away at the time and they were very helpful but could not do anything about recovering my money for me. They did however say they usually managed to filter out these scamsters but unfortunately even after nearly a year I still see this property on booking.com listings.
These type of dishonest property owners create a bad impression for all of us and certainly can't be doing booking.com any good but why does it take so long for booking.com to take any definite action against them ?
