Don't give check in instructions until the guest pays the security deposit
Hey everyone,
We just started on booking.com, and we are wondering if we can just not give the check in instructions to the guests until they pay the security deposit. Any thoughts from someone who is experienced with booking.com?

Yes .
In your first auto message template for new bookings,in first section state the terms and process for paying the deposit..
Set the options for deposit payment etc.
Set a time limit by which you can cancel the booking if no funds received, no communication from guest etc.
Create a message template for the door codes, key locations etc, which you will only use when everything is completed by the guest.
