Early Check In Charge

Hi

Our guests have just informed us that they need to check-in at 2am of the day that they are due to arrive, which I have decided to charge them a little as I simply now can't rent out the previous day as it needs be a cleaning day.

How do I go about adding this additional cost.

I appreciate any assistance.

Hi Carla, 

 

In general my advise would be to have a card reader /card tap device / 3rd party service for additional fees. as long as you define these fees on the listing in some way, (text on photo, fine print, message template( for check-in; how to get here; new reservation; etc).

 

No matter what the fee is it will be included in the commission unless you are taking it directly from the guest (i.e. commission free).

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

we are new to the site and hadn't thought that far ahead of people wanting to add an additional 13hrs to their stay so there isn't an official additional fee in our villa's listing - so, sending bank details are not an option as obviously they are commission free??
