5. Legal country on the invoicing details, Country bank account for payout, and the Property itself need to be in one/same country.

As stated before:
- Property location and bank account must be in the same country.

Contact booking.com support via extranet if still having issues.

I am unable to enter my banking details because I do not have a bank account in the country in which I am renting out my villa. My villa is located in Indonesia and my bank account is in the United States. Does that mean that I am unable to use Booking.com to book my villa?

You can do this without entering the banking details, but you will have to collect money from the guest at the proeprty or by using online payments (POS terminal).

My bank account and property are in the same country, yet still the IBAN is not accepted. Is this a tactic by booking.com to delay payment, I wonder?

Still? How long are you waiting?

I spoke to someone at booking.com about the problem some time ago - well before guests arrived. I was assured it would be fixed. Payment is now 2 days overdue. This is not fair.

2 days omg. :)
I am also waiting for payment, and they are two days overdue. Usually I received the payment around 11th of each month. I expect that I will receive payment tonight.

I solved the problem. The IBAN number has to be entered manually, not copy and paste.

I think it is incredible that Booking Extranet ONLY allows to have your property and bank in the same country, 40 % of the people has properties in different countries. When are you going to change it? I have to cancel my property now

to add to the confusion then I can inform that I have a house in Brasil AND and bank account in Brasil but I was informed some time back that at the moment I can not add bank details as booking.com is "working on it".when I check my account today on extranet the link to bank information have been removed (?). This means I will have to arrange payment directly with the clients who rent.

it is ridiculous! So if you are dealing directly with the clients, Booking shouldn't charge you a high commission anymore

Depends from which perspective you are looking. With this they are preventing "money laundry".
If you don't want to deal directly with clients, open a business acount, get yourself a POS terminal from your bank and activate online payments on BC.

sorry, dont understand this comment at all. Booking.com are more than happy to get their commission but are not interested in helping a client ( and the customer) with a safe way to handle the payments.Lot of house owners (like me) have a house abroad but dont live in that country. Now we will have to take all the work to get the payments from the clients. Does this mean that Airbnb is involved in "money laundry" as they handle the payments ??? I think not.

AirBnB is more "closed" regarding sharing the information to the Authorities then BC, they hardly get the information from them of the properties. Lot's of home owners on AirBnB doesn't have legal approval for renting, are not paying taxes etc, that is why they are more flexible regarding the payout methods. Defenitly Booking.com is more transparent, AirBnB is looking for holes. If you are receiving payments to a foreign bank account, it is more difficult for local authorities to track you down. It's more about the hosts that are not paying taxes.

P.S. Also policies varies from each country, depends of their laws etc. I assume that is also why in some countries Payments by Booking.com is not available.

What's wrong with getting yourself a POS terminal, activating Online payments by BC? You don't have this feature in South Africa?

Hi, I am new to booking.com and have been trying to register my bank account for the property I let.

I completed all the necessary details on the for as required, but there is no button on the bottom of the page to save the data. So, when I leave the page the data is deleted. Can anyone suggest what to do? Thanks

Its not believable that I cannot fill in my german account, because the house I am renting is in spain. I dont want to open a spanish account because I live in Germany!! I am very upset about this fact, its more than old fashioned!

Well then don't open it... Take pre-payments personally (directly with the guest).
