False bookings and Finance invoices
We finally opened our property on July 19 after waiting 4 weeks for a property ID verification code. We then received a succession of bookings - all of which the credit card was unable to be verified by Booking.com and the booking being cancelled (with subsequent emails advising me of the cancellation.
We have had no Booking.com guests stay at the property and now finance have sent me an invoice for commissions for false and cancelled bookings.
Something seems seriously wrong.
