Getting paid

In the 3 years I have used Booking.com for renting out my summer house in Aruba, I have had only one fruitful reservation. And countless cancellations. Why? The Booking.com platform does "not yet"allow me to use their payment system. I first need to have a couple of reviews before I am "eligible". All the cancellations are due to the fact that I have to ask people to pay cash. Modern travellers don't want to pay cash... I use VRBO and Airbnb very succesfully and never have any issues. Over the years I have spent many hours trying to work out how to get paid. Paypal would be an option, but I cannot find out how to give this information on my listing. Ideally, I would like Booking.com to deal with payments. Any suggestions?

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
