Guest without valid phone number and credit card that hasn't cleared

I have a guest arriving tomorrow whose credit card hasn't cleared, and whose phone number isn't valid. Of course there is no easy way to contact Booking.com. Anyone know what to do here?

Thanks.

It doesn't sound as if it is a real booking.  Don't be surprised if they don't show up.  Normally I would say try and get booking.com to contact them but as you say you can't easily get through.

That's actually incredibly helpful. I hadn't thought that that sort of thing happened, but it would be a relief under the current circumstances with the virus. Thank you so much!

I was really shocked when I first started doing accommodation when my first 'no show' occurred.  Even real people that make bookings sometimes do 2 or 3 and then see which one they prefer when they arrive.  Initially I was doing just cash only bookings so very susceptible to this and no come back to get lost revenue.  I agree, under current situation do you want strangers around.  I have just marked my rooms as Closed until the end of the month. If they don't show up make sure you tick the 'No show' box on the right hand side of their reservation detail.  That way booking.com won't charge you commission.

I appreciate that, as I am still pretty new to dealing with Booking. Best of luck to you!
