Guests are paying with credit card but I have not the option to collect payment by credit card

guests are paying their reservations with a credit card but booking has not notified me.  I dont have the option to collect payment by credit card in admin booking homepage.


what can i do?

If you check your extranet, it is probably stated in your settings, that you have this opportunity. Look under policies.

You can change it yourself, and choose a system that works for you. 

It is awkward to see someone approach you with a card, and you can not take it. Anyway, I hope this helps. Otherwise, come back to the partner group.

Some temp work around is to have them instead use mobile banking to add your IBAN etc as a payee and just do a SEPA transfer.


Or even better if both of ye have a Revolut or other internet bank account.


Takes mear minutes to setup on ones phone.


I have Revolut and I also bought one of the readers from, so worth having even if you never use it.


Even Paypal have a similar feature .

I did not find any option on the page where you can collect or view payments made by customers with a credit card. Could you tell me if it is possible where I can find this option. thanks

The problem I have is that customers are making credit card payments via booking directly and I have no way of charging that money they pay.

Dear Vanzetty Durant! Thanks for posting in the Community!


The guests are able to make direct payments to only if you opted in Payments by Booking. Unfortunately, this payment method is not available in your country. You can receive only direct payments from guests.


Please go to "Property" tab - "Policies", scroll down to "Guests payment options" - there you can check/change your payment options.
