How do the guest pay?
Yestarday I had my first guests and a few hours ago they left
Came here at my computer and I don't understand how the payment works because they had to pay trough booking but I don't see anywhere the confirmation
It depends which payment method you choosed.
Go to extranet -> Policies -> Other Policies -> Guest payment options
My Booking,com guest payments take two days before they are deposited into my bank account.
The more experience I have with Booking.com, the more I suspect that this organisation is engaged in criminal activity. They change the rules of engagement as they go. The property, the problems and the hard work are all yours, the fees are theirs. Booking refused to help me with raising an invoice for the booking cancellation fee. They do not care that I lost a month of income holding up the property for their failed guest for 3 weeks.
If you have activated "Payments by BDC" or "Online Payments by BDC" then it should be no problem to colect cancellation fees. If you didn't, it's up to you (the property) how are you going to collect the cancellation fees, noshows, overall payments... based on the policies you have set in extranet for your property.
