How do I know if a guest has paid?

We have a 50% prepayment policy but nothing shows on the guest's booking.  How do I know if he has paid booking.com direct - nothing shows up in paypal accounts or our bank account.

 

The guest's credit card details are not available until 5 days time.  The booking is for 3 weeks time.

Thats not how it works by default if you have not signed up for one of these:

  1. BdC Online Payments
  2. Payments By Booking

 

By default its pay on arrival check-in date.

If you have set policies > prepayment = true, then you also need to be able to take that 50% directly from the guest , just like deposits.

 

BdC will not take deposits for you.

 

BdC Online payments provides multiple pay methods to the guest to pay BdC.

 

BdC then generates a VCC attaches it to your reservation details page, but not active until one day after the check-in date.

 

 

 

Payments by BdC is where they do it all for you, and then just pay you weekly or once a month.

Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
