How long too wait for a bank transfer (payment by booking.como)?

I'm new to the site and to 'payments from booking.com'.  My first reservation payment ('just click the charge button!") did show up at my bank about a week later but I was still in the process of being approved for this type of payment; I assume they normally should happen more quickly ('payments are processed every three days") but my second and third payment request were made on April 1st and neither have appeared at my bank as of 6 days later.  Paypal transfers show up within 24 hours so if booking.com is sending payments every three days I would think I wouldn't have to wait more than 4 days to see the payment.

thank you for any advice...

Thank you for the link. But elsewhere it says payment is made every three days. I'm signed up where booking collects all my payments, I think it's a different program than the link you sent

I see this for a first time. I'm also signed up where booking collects all my payments but my extranet says

3. You get paid

You will receive a bank transfer by the 15th of each month that covers all bookings with a check-out in the previous month.

Maybe it depends on the country's rules (I'm in the U.S. and I see you are in Croatia).

Still waiting for the so-called '3 day transfer'...

Well give it some few days more.. We have 5 working days out of 7. Or contact booking.com support via extranet.

I thought we get paid directly from guest and then we need to pay comission to booking.com

If this option is there, where is this? i prefer that booking take payment from guest and release payment for us. because doing payment to booking.com is complicated.

please someone guide me

Payments by booking.com is the best feature. You don't have to worry about the late cancelations and no-shows. You are covered. Why is it complicated? You will receive all the funds, also booking.com will deduct their commision from your bank account. So you basicly don't have to do nothing.
With other available options that booking.com provides will be more complications etc... In some countries Payments by booking.com are not available.

If you want to deactivate this feature you have to contact booking.com that you personally want to handle all the payments with guest directly. I am on booking 10 years.. and this year I0ve activated Payments by booking.com. It's great, less stressfull, less trouble for the guests and myself. Less cancelations, 0 no-shows.

P.S. I receive the payments from Booking.com once a month.

You can contact Booking.com via extranet and let them know that you would like to deactivate Payments by booking.com. They will do it in your behalf, you can not deactivate this feature by yourself.

I like to have some control over my bookings and payments. Furthermore, I do not like the idea of having another business control my banking for me. As you can see from previous comments, there are delays and misunderstandings which cause too much grief sometimes. I just had a guest say that she was charges twice, once by Booking.com and once by my B&B. Now, Booking.com paid the guest for the overcharge and they are invoicing my B&B for the overpayment. I would not mind paying a overcharge if I had the proper paper trail, such as bank statement from the guest and the payment by Booking.com. However, none of the paper work has been copied and sent to me. So, I may be out of a lot of money, over 500.00. How do I get this matter sorted out? I am certainly not happy about this. I did not sign up for virtual payments it was basically a feature that Booking.com added to the payment process without my consent. I am considering doing my booking differently now.

Has anyone else had this problem with virtual payments?

I never had any problems with invoicing. I had some "problems" with few guests who thought the booking was paid (because they provided credit card details at the time of booking). But that was at the time, when we were collecting money directly at the property so it was easy to explain that credit card is needed just for security reasons and no charges were done.

The biggest issue I experieneced (before I activated payments by booking.com) was that when I charged the guest credit card for a late cancelation or a no-show, the guest has reported an unauthorized transaction to their card provider, and they "instantly" refunded the money taken back from our account. And guests are more and more aware of this weak hole that they can exploit.

If you activated virtual payments, you must charge Booking's virtual card and not the guest. If they refunded the guest the money, because of the double charge, the guest money is still on virtual card. So just charge this amount from booking's virtual card I guess.

Also go through your bank statement and you'll se under transactions what was paid/deducted..

Hi where do I find the option for Virtual card payments? I am sure that I asked Booking.com not to include me in the virtual card payments option. I would like to have a better understanding of this system of payment. Thank you for your advise. You are being very helpful.

I am not sure, because I didn't use this feature (Online payments by booking.com). Send a message to Booking.com via extranet for instructions how to charge their virtual card.

Check under policies if you have enabled (Allow your guest to pay online).

Do we have to have to turn off "accept credit cards" settings to activate "payments by booking.com"?

I'm interested in Payments by booking.com and have few questions.
If I'll activate this option, does it mean, that for all my bookings guests have to prepay?
If guests book well in advance 3-6 months and I have Full prepayment policy active, I would not receive money until next month after check out ?
