How much payment should we be receiving?

Hello, I am sure that many of you will be able to answer my query, and I really should have got my head round this matter by now, but I still need some clarification. Our property is listed at 95 euros per night during December. We have a 3-night booking (3 x 95 = 285).

The booking shows the following information:

Total price: 233.14

Commissionable amount: 230.85

Commission: 41.81 (Commission 39.24 and Payment charge 2.56)

We pay 17%.

No matter how I arrange the figures, none of it adds up to 285. Do we receive the Total price, or is the commission taken from that?

If anybody can help by explaining each of the figures, I would be very grateful.

It depends what your payment policies are...

If you have Payments by then commission is deducted  from your payment...

Total price 233.14 seems right...

Welcome to the Partner Only  Forum, addressing only us not BdC support team.

Posting an action request  will not result in any action at all, here.

We have all had this one when we started.

Basically everything in the checkout is commissionable.

Yes even Additional fees (cleaning etc). I know its wrong , BdC should really only being doing it on the actual rate, not the extras.

Other factors:

  • Genius Program - Dynamic Pricing Enabled

Something I put together a while back as a sample for others to use to breakdown rates and see payout values.

Contact BdC Support as per the visual guide below or the short version here:

1) In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.

2) Select ‘ messages’.

3) Click on ‘See Contact Options’

Topic : Account

Subtopic : Other, then phone number is revealed on right

Kind Regards,
