I don't have Credit card terminal

To : booking.com

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

Please be informed that I don't have a credit card terminal or the machine to charge the guest payment online currently I am starting up an apartment for short stay but I don't have credit card terminal, right now how  the guest can do the payment online?

I don't want to receive cash directly and I wish the guest to pay online and to charge every guest online payment how can I do that ?

Looking forward to have solution on this mater.

Best Regards,

You can also apply for SQUARE BANK TERMINAL to accept credit cards ! It's portable , easy to use look it up online for more informations on how to apply and receive it.

Payments by Booking.com. Contact them for the activation (if available in your area).

Ohhhh they don't provide the service yet in Dominican Republic, I will use the SQUARE POS for now until Booking.com has it available on their site.

Hmm, I am a little confused about this myself. I have no card machine either and thought the online payments offered by Booking.Com would enable me to charge the guests' virtual CC via my channel manager or via Booking.Com extranet. Booking.Com would then 'hold' the money until midway through the next month, then they would do a direct transfer (Reservations minus the commission) to my bank account. .. hence removing the need for a card machine. I am now reading that my POS machine is set up to charge virtual credit cards (as below) Can anyone clarify the situation?

What you are describing is Payments by booking.com (the picture I posted above). For online payments you need POS terminal.

Many thanks for pointing out that there are two different systems. Much clearer now.
