I have too may no-shows and would like my guests to prepay before arival. How can I set this up?

I have too many no-shows. Dates are being automatically held by potential guests who are no-shows. I am therefore losing revenue and would like guests to prepay upon booking. How do I set this up on my listing?

Thank you,

Geoff

Contact the booking.com help team and ask if you can set up 'Payment by booking.com' and then they will process everything for you.  Additional % to pay but stops all the No shows.  If booking.com don't do it for you then you have whole task of setting up using electronic payments yourself which is expensive.

Contact booking.com help team using Inbox icon on Extranet (Option booking.com messages) or give help team a call see link for local phone numbers.

Not sure why you think its expensive, its relative to what you need.

checkout paytrexx.com  or https://sumup.ie/bookingie/ for options

Like mosts things there are Pros V Cons to indirect and direct payments.

Its really subjective I think to the type of accomodation  and the scenario and even in some cases the country/regional location.
