We’ve resolved an issue with your invoice payment history

We recently became aware of a technical issue in the extranet that meant the information displayed about your invoice and payment history may not have been up to date. We’re happy to let you know we’ve now resolved the issue, and the status of your invoices and recent payments is now updated.

You don’t need to contact us about this. We’d like to reassure you that our internal payment systems weren’t affected at any point, and our records of your invoices and payments remained accurate throughout. We apologise for any inconvenience.

I want booking.com to handle payments

I have found booking.com harder than competitors to use.

I have an apartment I have listed but it is saying pay at property so I have closed my room.

I want booking.com to handle payments, i.e. take payments from the guest and pay me through bank transfer. However, it appears it's set up to receive payment from guests on arrival.

I'm really confused by it. I have no credit card POS to take payment and I do not want my key holder to take a cash payment.

Is this basically not possible for me? I assumed booking.com would charge the customer and then take a commission and pay me directly without me having to do aany of this?

Thanks, David.

This question is asked many times ....

You need to send a message to Booking.com via your Extranet and ask them to set up Payments by Booking.com

If they agree, you can go live - be aware that Booking.com will not collect damage deposits for you like with AirBnB/TripAdvisor etc - I've posted a partial solution for that many times ....

Booking.com may refuse to allow you to take payments via Payments by Booking.com. If so, keep your property closed and just use AirBnB / TripAdvisor / HomeAway instead. But don't give up, keep asking Booking.com to allow you to take online payments.
