International bank deposit fees

Hi

Does anyone know why partners are being paid internationally from the Netherlands since about March 2021?

I now have to pay an additional international bank deposit fee of between R50 and R150 depending on the amount being deposited.

Kind regards

Rolenda

BREXIT lad, bloody brexit is why. lol

Like you the Irish didnt vote Yes for Brexit ,neither did Northern Ireland.

They then had to move payments from, English bank for non britsh partners to a EU bank.

Oi, that's not fair!

SA teachers are not even recognised to teach English online, so we must fall under the EU Dutch/ French countries. ;-)

Thanks for reply though! :-)

Good day, my Selfcatering Apartement is in South Africa and I also have to pay these fees.

I am considering to stop using Booking.com because of this.

How is it possible that I have to pay International Deposit Fees for a  South African guest who pays in South Africa and my bank is in South Africa?

Regards.

Hi Suzette

I changed my financial setting so that I get paid Booking only once a month. In this way the maximum international fee is R150.00 and no more.

If you get paid every week and it's more than R1000 or something, you pay R150 for every large payment. If you are paid once a month, you only pay R150 once.

Hope that helps. :-)

Thank you, Rolenda.

Mine is once a month too, but I don't want to pay anything as there isn't suposed to be any money coming from another country.?

I am going to see someone at the bank to clarify this matter for me.

Will update you as soon as I have an answer.
