Invalid Credit Cards. Frustrating!

I am continually frustrated with Booking.com guests presenting invalid cards, resulting in that room being blocked for 36 hours.  At busy times I am missing out on potential guests whilst waiting for updated card details which never materialise.  I don't have multiple rooms so this situation is unacceptable, and bad for my business!

Invalid credit cards / fake bookings / no shows happens again and again and again - soooooo many posts about it in this community

Ask booking.com to set up Payments by Booking.com so that guests pay at the time of booking, just like they do on AirBnB, TripAdvisor and HomeAway. If they refuse, switch to AirBnB etc. Don't try to do things differently - it doesn't work - and you've already found out that it's bad for business.
