Lost of Property

We are requesting guest to return the access card issued to them during their stay as this belongs to the Milano Property management. The host is being fined for Php1,500 for loss or stolen access cards. Can Booking.com help recover this card or the payment for the lost card? Hoping for your immediate response. Thank you.

We live in a gated-community, where we loan our guests a electronic card-key to open our vehicle gate after 7:30 p.m. (when there is no security guard on-duty there).


In the past 18 months, all guest have returned our entrance gate card-key to us at check-out.


However, you could ask your future guests to give you Php 1500 in cash upon their check-in; then, seal the cash in a small envelope.


When they return your access card to you at check-out, you return their Php 1500 cash deposit in the sealed envelope.


I doubt Booking,com will pay you for the lost access card; but you can call their support staff to ask.
