No show - how to charge

Who will charge a no show? Booking.com or the property directly? And where can I get the complete credit card information from (incl. 3 digit number)

The simple answer is if you are not set up as Guest must prepay , you will never get a No Show payment, its literally not a thing.

 

There has to be a prepayment in full or deposit prepaid or both.

If No Show and deposit prepaid, then you keep that deposit, but the balance will not be paid.  No way to recover it.

 

If the rate (and optional deposit) is prepaid, then you get it from that .

 

With the way the world  of bank and CC/ VCC works these days, there are too many ways for a non prepaid guest to get out of payment.

 

So the reality is  make them prepay full or partial.
