One year with booking.com
We have a small two bedroom unit for rent in Northland New Zealand. Working with Airbnb for two years then we joined booking.com in February 2020 just before COVID-19.
The bookings started to roll in straight and till April. After our lockdown was lifted in New Zealand travelers started to book again with booking.com and the unit was fully booked.
Airbnb was very quiet till the end of the year 2020. We are very happy to made a move to booking.com
The only problem we have is the payout, as booking.com collects the payments we only receive the payout one to two month later.
Airbnb payout is coming through the second day when guests are booked in.
The fastest payment method is direct, so investing in a ePOS and virtual terminal from payment service company is what you need.
It also means if they fail to prepay with in x hours, you can evoke the Request Cancellation with option 1, to void booking quickly.
