Is there a link on Booking.com that explains why they do not collect money from people  who reserve in Panama?

Many reservers are suspicious when we tell them they have to send money, or pay in Cash on arrival.  Nt to mention the high rate of cancelation as a result of booking not collecting.

Hi Moti,

 

If I understand correctly , in your country, your booking.com reservations are not prepaid to booking.com, if the person is  located in panama? Then you message them and ask for prepayment or on arrival bring cash?

 

Part of this may be avoid if you set you rates to Non refundable and prepayment via payments by Booking.com, and dont use cash or other on arrival.

Are you sure?

I was told that Booking.com does not have a way to pay me in Panama.  I also have a US bank account, and again they said no.

 

???

ah ok that's not how I read your topic at all.

 

who exactly told you that, was it BDC themselves? if you have yet to speak to BDC advisor directly then I strongly recommend you do to get direct help.  To find your local contact us number :  

  1. Goto admin portal
  2. click on Inbox , then Booking.com messages
  3.  On right pane under Contact Us, click to expand it down and open out, there you will see the phone number.

I tried calling many times, but there is always a big wait.  Its like Booking does not want to help, and prefer I ask other partners.

There used to be an email way to ask and get support.  I no longer see that either.
