Paid commission for no show guest and review is still online!

As our very long case about non show guest who left fake review was closed with deal that booking made with us - to pay commission for his stay (even if he did NOT stay) in exchange for review to be deleted! 

This was as booking.com saw that we are not going to pay invoice that contain commission of non show guest and that our score is much more important for us than one commission payment!

Believe of not review was removed from site for 2 weeks and now its back on site after we did payment!

So it's official now .... BDC allow reviews from people who didn't stay .... disgusting.

I shared the guest review removal related company policies with you before under this post .

 

I would also like to share our Partner Help article on this topic which has recently been updated.

 

Here, you will be able to read about the recent policy change on guests being able to submit a review based on their experiences if they arrived at your property and then left. 

 

Additionally, I also want to share some knowledge with you that might be helpful to understand why the review might be visible again.

 

If a review was left online because guest arrived at your property and then left, but then this review's comments were removed upon your request due to including personal information (such as property staff name), guest could request to write a new review which was in line with policies, meaning by removing the personal information and re-submitting the review. 

 

If you wish to contact our support team via your extranet inbox, they will be able to check what happened thoroughly and inform you on this specific reservation and review.

Are we Living in different dimensions or what? It seems that we all know what no-show means, except booking.com. No-show means guests never came to the property. How can they leave review if they never show, never see, or never been in the property?

Non show guest 3199654494 posted review and photoes of people we do not know and its still online.  We paid commission for this guest even if he did not stay and we had another guest at the same time that actually stayed!

Dear Milos,

Please fix my problem as my commission 1578325606 is unpaid and my account is suspended. 

I manage to get 40 disputes out of it on 16 Aug 2022. But did not get any credit note. 

Please send me credit note i will pay it as soon as i get the credit note.
