Partial refund a guest / give discount to a confirmed booking

Hi there,

after check in, a guest reported some issues unrelated with the booked property itself for which I'd like to grant them a discount on the price of their stay. How can I best give a discount to a reservation that already checked in? Is there a way I can do this via booking.com, or shall I do it via bank transfer unrelated to booking.com?

  1. BdC System - Rate adjusted
  2. Non BdC, direct discount as a partial refund from Partner to Guest

 

Option 1: Ask BdC support to alter charge, and refund partial, could potentially be done so just use the message system and ask for it. Then come back and let us know.

 

Option 2: Direct with Guest. Yes entirely up to you if you want to ask them for their IBAN info, or paypal or Revolut ID, etc..

 

 

 


 

Contact BdC Support as per the visual guide below or the short version here:

 

 

1) In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.

2) Select ‘Booking.com messages’.

3) Click on ‘See Contact Options’
