problems with Credit card information - missing CVC codes
Hi Everyone, i have lately seen a pattern develop which is disturbing
1. i get a booking with a message that BDC has issued a Virtual CC
2. Followed some time later by a modification message. When i look at the reservation on the Extranet it says " The guest has updated their credit card details."
3.If i display the CC, the the CVC code is missing, making the card information useless.
I have just now picked up 3 bookings like this and had one last week as well. This is a HUGE risk to my business. I reported this to BDC and their only response is i should mark the CC as invalid, BUT THIS IS A NEW PATTERN. i have never had this before, i am convinced this is either a bug or if not WHY does BDC allow CC information being entered without a CVC code at all???
I actually had to stop taking bookings in 2020 from Hostelworld because they wont supply the CVC code.
Has anyone else had the same issue with BDC?
