The reservation is cancelled, but not any way I can refound...

If guest prepaid you gave nothing to do, other than agree to a free cancellation once the guest click on request cancel.


You can do it for them from their booking details page but they still have to confirm it, when system sends them an email.


If guest is not prepay and it is direct pay, but they give  their own VCC, then you have to do it via the payment provider system you are using
